Five hours in Folkestone and exactly what I needed.
We started with a slow breakfast at Little Rock by the sea, before wandering through Folkestone's colourful streets and independent shops, down towards the harbour and along the Harbour Arm.
There was no real plan for the day. Just blue skies, good food, interesting little finds, a long walk along the seafront and coffee by the beach before heading home.
Sometimes the simplest days are the ones that reset you the most.

First stop, Little Rock.
Right on the seafront, we stopped for a slow breakfast before heading off to explore. Good coffee, a very good breakfast and blue skies outside — a pretty perfect start.
Then we wandered.
Up through the Old High Street, past colourful shopfronts, painted walls and independent shops — exactly the kind of details I always find myself stopping to photograph.
Down towards the harbour.
From the Old High Street we made our way towards the water and the Harbour Arm, with more little details catching my eye along the way.

Five hours.
Breakfast by the sea, colourful streets, little finds, a wander along the harbour and coffee before heading home.
Nothing complicated. Just a few hours somewhere different, noticing the details along the way.
Exactly what I needed.
